As you know, our incomparable teacher, Zasep Rinpoche Baghs-aa turns age 60 this year. Due to repeated requests from a number of students in Toronto and the persistence of the Gaden Choling Board of Directors, Zasep Rinpoche has agreed to accept the offering of a Dakini Long Life puja (Khandro Ten-zhug). We would like to invite you to participate in this event where, as a community, we will express our sincere gratitude for Rinpoche's kindness in turning the wheel of dharma (in the west) for over thirty years. On the occasion of his long-life puja, with recognition of our collective need for his continued guidance, we will formally request him to remain in this world and also engage in practise as a community to purify negativities influencing his departure. According to the teachings on Tibetan Astrology, the 60th year of life is considered to be especially fragile. For this reason longevity practises are especially emphasized. The Dakini Long-life puja is considered to be an especially powerful method for influencing the Guru's presence to remain in this world.

The Seneca Conference Centre is conveniently located near the intersection of Hwy 401 and HWY 404 with ample inexpensive parking and access to public transit. You'll find more detailed information about getting to the Conference Centre on a separate page.
Accommodation
A discounted rate will be available for accommodations booked in the residence connected to the conference centre. Each reserved suite consists of two bedrooms connected to a shared kitchen and bathroom and the total price for the suite will be approximately $50/night. We were only able to reserve a limited number of these suites at this time but we may be able to increase the number within one week of the event. If there is a need, we are also able to arrange accommodation at the discounted rate of $74 per night at a nearby Howard Johnson's Hotel, which is a comfortable driving distance from the conference facilities. More accommodation info is coming, but please let Ann know ASAP if you think you will want one of our reserved rooms at the conference centre or Howard Johnson and/or if you are looking for someone with whom to share a suite/room (email: gelsheimer -at- rogers.com )
