About the Course
At the request of Zasep Rinpoche, this special course is being led by
Chuck Damov during his visit to Toronto in August and October 2008.
This course is primarily about why and how Buddhists practice meditation. It
will be based on a scripture composed in the 15th century by the great Tibetan
lama Je Tsongkapa. Certificates for proficiency in the material or participation in
the course will be available, but drop-in students are welcome.
8 Classes: Thursdays, Aug. 7, 14, 21, 28 and Oct. 9, 16, 23, 30. From 7:30 to 9:30 pm, at the Gaden Choling centre.

- Root text: The Three Principal Aspects of the Path, by Lama Je Tsongkhapa.
- • A translation by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. Here is an online version, and a downloadable PDF file.
• A translation by Lama Zopa Rinpoche. Here is a downloadable PDF file from the FPMT website. A printed copy will be available to students attending the course.
- Book: "The Three Principal Aspects of the Path," by Geshe Sonam Rinchen and Ruth Sonam. A commentary on the root text.

- Test: 10 Questions on the Buddhist Text, "The 3 Principal Aspects Of The Path."
