Our latest weekly Dharma Study Program series of classes began on Thursday, March 19, 2009. In this series of classes we are studying the stages of the path to enlightenment or "Lam Rim" as it is referred to in Tibetan. The study of Lam Rim is considered the foundation for all our practices within Tibetan Buddhism and is essential for both new students and advanced practitioners. Each week we study and discuss a section from the comprehensive text by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso entitled Joyful Path of Good Fortune and also learn to meditate on the various topics and stages of the path. All new and returning students are welcome to join in this study program. Please feel free to drop-in or join the series at any time. We meet each Thursday at 7:30pm at Gaden Choling.
This page will be updated occasionally, with links to handouts or other information relevant to the current discussions in class. The schedule below provides links to chapter summaries for each week's topic/chapter. We're aiming to cover one chapter each week. Chapter summaries are still being created, so not all the past or future ones are online yet (soon though!).

Each week we aim to cover one chapter in "The Joyful Path of Good Fortune" (a book outline and individual chapter summaries can be found here). The topics below are the chapter names from the book, so you may read that chapter in advance. This schedule may be revised occasionally (last updated 2009-09-09).
