Rehearsals for the forthcoming Long Life Puja
We are holding a series of rehearsals to prepare for the forthcoming Long Life Puja for Zasep Rinpoche. Rehearsals will be held each Sunday, usually from 2-4pm but with some exceptions, and will focus on various sections of the puja. As we draw closer to the date of the Long Life puja, we will engage in full rehearsals of the Long-Life puja. The melodies of the puja are not difficult to learn but practise will help build confidence and familiarity which will enhance the flow and energy of the puja. Practise and familiarity will also enhance your experience and enjoyment of the puja. All are invited, so please do come out.

Rehearsal Schedule
Sunday, March 8, 1-3pm (**daylight savings time**). Gaden Choling will be holding the first (in a series of rehearsals) to prepare for the forthcoming Long Life Puja for Zasep Rinpoche. This rehearsal will focus on the melodies of the Lama Chopa section of the long life puja.
Sunday, March 15, 2-4pm. Gaden Choling will hold the a rehearsal to prepare for the forthcoming Long Life Puja for Zasep Rinpoche. This rehearsal will focus on the melodies of the Tsog, Dakini Entrance and departure and long life offerings.
Sunday, March 22, 2-4pm. Rehearsal will focus on the Dakini entrance and departure.
Sunday, March 29, 10am-12pm. Note the early time (there is a board meeting at 1pm).
Sunday April 5th, 2-4pm, at Gaden Choling. This rehearsal will continue to focus on the entrance and exit of the Dakinis, presenting the various offerings and also the Tsog offering.
Sunday April 12, 1pm-4:30pm, at Gaden Choling. This rehearsal will be a "loose" dress rehearsal. We will run through a mock version of the entire puja stopping for discussion, brainstorming and problem solving when necessary. Please note the early start time.
Sunday April 19, 2-4:30pm, at Gaden Choling. This rehearsal will be a follow up to the April 12 rehearsal. We will work on the parts of the puja that require fine tuning.
Saturday April 25, 6-9:30pm, at Seneca College. This will be a more formal dress rehearsal, a mock version of the entire puja with minor tweaks where required. This will be a full dress rehearsal held at the event venue, the Seneca College Residence and Conference Centre, 1760 Finch Ave E., on the Seneca College campus.

The rehearsals have been a lot of fun, and we have made great progress working out how best to perform the offering for Rinpoche.
