Please find below some revisions and new information regarding Rinpoche's schedule for teachings and initiations at Gaden Choling Buddhist Centre from November 7-17, 2009.

Rinpoche's Revised Schedule:
Weekend of November 7th & 8th, 10 AM – 4 PM (approximately): Lo Jong Wheel of Sharp Weapons, teaching and practice. Over these two days, Rinpoche will be giving teachings on Lo Jong, which is meditation on thought transformation, purification, and elimination of all mental delusions. The basis of this talk is the text known as Wheel of Sharp Weapons written by the Indian Buddhist master Dharmarakshita.
Requested donation: $25 per day for members/$30 per day for non-members
Tuesday, November 10th, 7:30 PM: Lama je Tsongkapa Guru Yoga Initation. Lama Je Tsongkhapa is an incarnation of Buddha Manjushri. Lama Je Tsongkhapa’s meditations help us to understand the meaning of Guru Yoga and obtain Manjushri`s great wisdom.
Requested donation: $25 for members/$35 for non-members
Friday, November 13th, 7:30 PM Miya Shimada to teach Chod Melodies and chant. Rinpoche has invited Miya to teach the melodies of Chod Kha Chap Ma and Fhiwa Lam Zab. A previous Chod initiation is required to attend this event.
Requested donation: $10 for members/$15 for non-members
Weekend of November 14th & 15th: Two Events--please feel free to attend one or both each day
1. 9 AM – 12 PM Saturday and Sunday, Rinpoche will teach Guru Yoga. Rinpoche will provide a commentary on the practice and meaning of Guru Yoga according to the Tibetan Buddhist tradition.
Requested donation: $10 for members/$15 for non-members for each morning
2. 1:30 PM – 4 PM approximately on Saturday and Sunday, Rinpoche and Miya will teach Chod melodies and practice (Gaden Ear Whispered Lineage text). A previous Chod initiation is required to attend this event.

Tuesday, November 17th, 7:30 PM: White Heruka Long Life Initiation. This initiation is rare and is one of the ten initiations given by Manjushri to Lama Umapa and Lama Je Tsongkahapa.
Requested donation: $35 for members/$45 for non-members
