It will be based upon Yeshe Tsondru's 'The Essence of Nectar' (lam rim gdud rtsis snying po). The course Stages of the Path (Lamrim) will meet Thursdays, 7-9pm, and be led by Matt King. Please visit the course's webpage for more details.

New Course "The Buddhist Path of Ethics, Concentration and Wisdom" in January

Rinpoche has asked our friend and community teacher Chuck Damov to return once again to GC this winter and lead a special weekly course on the Buddhist path to Liberation as it is presented in the 5th century Visuddhimagga by Buddhaghosa. This course will present the 3 principal paths of Buddhist theory and practice: ethics, mindful concentration and understanding the ultimate nature of self and reality. The format will be lecture, discussion and guided meditation. This course will run Tuesdays between January 12 and March 2, 7-9pm, and is open to everyone.

Seneca College Residence and Conference Centre
Toronto, ON

Please accept our warm invitation to attend a Dakini Long Life Puja on the occasion of Rinpoche's 60th year of life. Offering this puja is a traditional method of thanking our teacher for so many years of turning the wheel of Dharma for us as well as helping to remove obstacles and create the causes for Rinpoche to enjoy a long life in this world with us. Please see here for an explanation of the meaning and purpose of this puja as written by one of our puja leaders, Rob Standfield.
