Visiting Teacher - Chuck Damov

Chuck Damov photoChuck Damov has been deeply involved in the study and practice of Dharma in the Geluk tradition for three decades, and is a senior student of Zasep Rinpoche. Chuck has studied and practiced under many of the most important lineage holders of our tradition, including H.H. the Dalai Lama, H.H. Ling Rinpoche, H.H. Zong Rinpoche, H.H. Khalkha Jetsun Dampa Rinpoche and many others in India and North America. Chuck has been a close student of Zasep Rinpoche here in the West for the last 25 years, and through extensive study and sustained practice has become a student-teacher in Rinpoche's network of Dharma centres here in the West.

Chuck has often visited Gaden Choling, and his depth of knowledge and experience in the Buddhadharma has made him an invaluable resource for students to increase and deepen their intellectual understanding of the grounds and paths of Buddhist practice here in Toronto. Furthermore, Chuck's special contribution to our sangha has been in supporting the development of a healthy and sustained meditation practice in students, an amazing contribution that comes out of his own ongoing retreat experience.
